ASTM A358 CL1 TP316/316L is a high-performance EFW austenitic stainless steel pipe, double-welded with filler metal and 100% radiographed, intended for high-temperature and general corrosive service. The "TP316/316L" designation indicates a dual-grade material that meets the chemical requirements of both 316 (standard molybdenum-bearing grade) and 316L (low-carbon version). These stainless steel pipes are manufactured from rolled plates or sheets using an automatic welding process without the use of filler metal (Class 1) or with filler metal (other classes), followed by heat treatment and rigorous nondestructive testing. For high-purity applications (food, pharma), mechanical polishing (e.g., 180-grit, 320-grit, or mirror finish) is available upon request.
